Knight’s Airport Limousine Service

Crown Energy Solutions installed a propane auto-gas dispensing facility on the property of Knight’s Limousine Service in Shrewsbury, MA. We prepared the site by provided excavation and backfill for the concrete piers, stanchions and pads. One set of concrete piers was constructed to support the propane tank and concrete was poured to support the stanchion.

A truck service was provided to transport the tank to the project location. A crane service was hired to remove the tank from the flatbed trailer and install it on the concrete piers.

Crown Energy Solutions provide Knight’s Limousine Service with one used 18,000 gallon water capacity propane storage tank. The tank was equipped with an indicating dial thermometer, 0-300 psi gauge, magnitel, liquid and vapor shut-off valves, nitrogen-activated internal valves and relief valves with 7’ risers and weather caps.

One Corken FF075 auto-gas pump with one 7.5 HP motor and by-pass line back to the tank was provided and installed. CES also installed one GasBoy fueling dispenser on a concrete pad 10’ from the tank.

One transport unload stanchion was fabricated in accordance with the latest edition of NFPA Pamplet 58 specifications for vapor return and liquid fill lines. The stanchion will be installed approximately 10’ from the tank.

CES also provided and installed an emergency shut-down system with nitrogen-activated pneumatic releases and three emergency shut-offs.

All the necessary piping for both liquid and vapor lines were installed.

Crown Energy Solutions performed hydrostatic testing on the storage tank as required by the state of Massachusetts.

The entire installation was painted and color-coded.
