Crown Energy Solutions installed a new propane storage facility at L&G Propane’s location in Keene, NH.
CES constructed two sets of concrete piers to support the propane storage tanks.
A truck service was provided to transport two 30,000 gallon propane storage tanks to the project site. A service was implemented to remove the tanks from the flatbed trailer and install on the concrete piers.
The two tanks provided by CES were equipped with an indicating dial thermometer, 0-300 psi gauge, magnitel qauge, liquid and vapor shut-off valves and nitrogen-activated internal valves. Each tank was also equipped with three Fisher relief valves with 7’ risers and weather caps.
Two 3” Corken pumps with two 10 HP motors and by-pass lines back to the tanks were provided and installed.
One transport unload/bobtail load stanchion was fabricated in accordance with the latest edition of NFPA Pamphlet 58 specifications for vapor return and liquid fill lines.
CES provided and installed an emergency shut-down system with nitrogen-activated pneumatic releases and three shut-offs.
CES also provided and installed a methanol injection system that provided methanol injection to the transport unload line. One 320 gallon tank (provided by L&G Propane) was installed for methanol storage.
All of the necessary piping for both liquid and vapor lines, as well as all the necessary valves and related equipment were firnished. All of which conform to NFPA Pamphlet 58.
The entire installation was painted and color-coded.
