Crown Energy Solutions constructed a new propane storage facility at Marcey Oil’s location in Provincetown, MA. One set of concrete piers was constructed to support the propane storage tank and concrete was poured to anchor the stanchion.
A truck service was implemented to transport the propane storage tank to the Provincetown location. A crane service was provided to remove the tank from the flatbed trailer and install it onto the concrete piers.
Crown Energy solutions provided one new 18,000 gallon water capacity propane storage tank. The tank was equipped with one indicating dial thermometer, 0-300 pai gauge, magnitel, liquid and vapor shut-off valves and nitrogen-activated internal valves. The tank was also equipped with two Fisher relief valves with 7’ risers and weather caps.
One Corken Z3500 pump with one 10 HP motor and a by-pass line back to the tank was provided and installed.
One transport unload/bobtail load stanchion was fabricated in accordance with the latest edition of NFPA Pamphlet 58 specifications for vapor return and liquid fill lines.
One 3 x 2 LC MA-15 meter was provided and installed at the stanchion.
Crown Energy Solutions installed an emergency shut-down system with nitrogen-activated pneumatic releases and two shut-offs.
All of the necessary piping for both liquid and vapor lines was installed.
The entire installation was painted and color-coded.
